Description Robert Half is partnering with a local business to staff a hybrid Financial Services Specialist position in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role would be contract-to-hire and would require you to travel, however, all expenses would be covered. If you are financially savvy and have a knack for sales, this might be the perfect role for you!In this role, you would:o Complete activities that maximize placements and fees paid to corporate credit union ownerso Source products and making trades by way of strategic relationship managemento Develop and influence sales targets while working with reps and co-agentso Build and manage relationships by selling services to potential new issuerso Communicate with financial institutions in developing and maintaining an ongoing list of CD rateso Provides customer service to their current bank and credit union issuers as well as their DTC providerso Responsible for providing financial service assistance of the SimpliCD program to their co-agents and sales staffRequirements Two or more years of similar or related experience
Two years successful consumer services sales/relationship building experience - preferred
Proven customer service and sales-related experience
Experience in financial services
Effective communication and follow up skills
Desire to achieve and reach for goals
Ability to work individually as well as contribute positively to the team environment
Must be familiar with MS Excel, Spreadsheets in particular
Familiar with Certificates of Deposit
