Kelly Services has a long-term contract opportunity with a global automotive company in Murfreesboro, TN.Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Murfreesboro, TN.M-F 8-5Hybrid 1-2 days in the officePay rate - $36/hr.Long term Contract RoleWe’re currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. This role will be responsible for controlling, monitoring, and promoting engineering cost reductions on current model vehicles, which will contribute to the company’s global profit margin.Job functions include but are not limited to:Provide North American Engineering senior management with weekly status reports, project updates, and recommended next actions if there is a gap to business plan.

Perform data analysis to reconcile financial actuals with technical cost reduction forecast. Report status to Executive management and working teams, as necessary.

Build influence and cross-functional collaboration with other departments Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, etc., both locally and globally.

Develop special actions and/or countermeasures based on data and trend analysis.

Benchmark internal departments and other regions to find best practices and cascade as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Finance, or related fields. Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience related to data analysis, KPI setting/monitoring, and project management.

Experience with MS Suite, especially Excel Pivot Tables and PowerPoint. Business Objects experience is a plus.
