SummaryKelly is hiring a Laboratory Technician for our client that focuses on complex waste management needs of its customers. This company offers treatment, disposal, and recycling of hazardous and radioactive waste, as well as a wide range of complementary field and industrial services.ResponsibilitiesMeet with the Lab Manager or Supervisor to identify key projects for the day Collect and analyze samples of waste streams from our customers

Determine if waste meets facility acceptance thresholds Identify the proper method of isolation or neutralization of customer waste, and provide those details to operations

Test treated waste to verify it s ready to move into the facility

Develop formulas and work on process improvement in the lab

Prepare and record data for review

Maintain a clean and safe lab environment

Manage inventory and supplies Provide technical assistance to other departments as needed

RequirementsBachelor s Degree in Chemistry or related field 0-2 year s laboratory experience

Sound understanding of basic mathematics and chemistry equations

Strong computer skills

Knowledge of the following Instrumentation: ICP-OES, FIMS 100, GC/MS

Basic Understanding of: Mathematical Equations, Total Cyanide distillation, Standard and Reagent Preparation
