Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Modernization and Modification Senior Operations Manager (Level L) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK .Position Responsibilities:Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Shift:This position is for 1st shift.Security ClearanceThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):· 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment· 5+ years of experience performing in a leadership rolePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of related work experience OR military experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering

Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)

Experience leading any of the following: staff, teams, and production or quality system initiatives.

Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data (knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, Go for Zero and Incident & Injury Free (IIF) principles).

Experience influencing and driving operational performance

Site leadership and organizational strategy development

Experience with OneBPS and deployment of Enterprise Level FOD standards and Best Practices

Aircraft assembly experience – assembly through Flight Ramp

Experience working on Commercial Derivative Military Aircraf
