Regency Square Dental is a rapidly growing dental Spa in the Southwest Ranches/Davie area of South Florida.

We are a very modern office providing everything from preventative treatments to high end digitally planned implant procedures and everything in between.

All levels assist dental team in clinical procedures providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handles a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations – these duties range in complexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, hygienists, doctors and other dental office team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following dental assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:

Distributes, collects, and reviews completed documentation from patient including medical history.

Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room & maintains equipment.

Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHA

Instructs patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.

Greets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.

In addition to Level 1 Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Level 2 must be able to perform the following

duties:

Performs clinical functions of a certified expanded duties dental assistant when directed or delegated by dentist.

Assists dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies.

Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by Dentist.

Explains & coordinates next visit, escorting patient to check-out

Risk Management / Safety

Observes HIPAA & OSHA safety rules/protocols. Models clear communication & labels diagnostic x-rays to create tx plans. Reviews med histories for accuracy, proper signatures & QA. Documents pt records accurately & concisely. Secures all necessary informed consent & refusal forms.

Integrity & Work Ethic

Maintain QSI cash transaction accuracy.
