Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote - Candidates must be located in New Jersey and have the ability to travel to Newark occasionally Ready to make a difference?To support our growth in the northeast region we are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our workforce development and operations team in New Jersey. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with our Workforce Development Manager and Operations Manager to assist with day-to-day business operations and help ensure contractual regulatory compliance. This involves invoicing, providing scheduled and real time updates on extensive reporting data, suggesting business process improvements, supporting comprehensive project tracking, client deliverables and KPIs. The ideal candidate is one that has an excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Hybrid position that will require travel to Newark office as needed for meetings and receiving Workforce Development shipments from the client. What you will be doing:Assist with preparation of consistent, timely and accurate reporting of workforce development data, portfolio/program energy savings performance and financial performance

Support in the implementation and maintenance of an internal recordkeeping system and provide accurate data to support external client reporting

Contribute to the maintenance of comprehensive project tracking

Document operational processes and implement streamlined processes where applicable

Responsible for maintaining large data sets; regularly request updates from third parties

Provide assistance with ad hoc requests and special projects as needed

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Resources, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Finance, Policy, Marketing or related area

2+ years of similar work experience required

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

What we would like you to have:Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint

Advanced analytical abilities and strong understanding of Excel formulas

Proven project management skills and accountability for delivery

Experience with invoicing or managing budgets

Process improvement experience
