Dealership:L0551 Driveway & Logistics, LLCLithia & Driveway The Driveway Logistics Fleet Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles for Lithia & Driveway on two types of trucks. This position requires knowledge of Auto Hauling and operation of a class 6 truck and the proper strapping and loading of vehicles onto either a Flatbed or Wedge trailer.The Driveway Logistics Fleet Driver reports to the Driveway Logistics Fleet Manager.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing a best-in-class fleet pickup and delivery process that scales with the needs of Driveway.com & Lithia Motors.
Be able to drive, load and perform basic engine checks on a class 6 power unit and load/strap vehicles on a flatbed or 3 car wedge trailers.
Recommend maintenance and repairs of trucks based on observations while driving & loading.
Identify lane optimization opportunities as the volume and density of shipments increase.
Partner with Driveway Hub Managers & Supervisors to ensure that Driveway Hub locations are being supported with optimal efficiency.
Be professional at all times and represent the Lithia & Driveway brand to our internal and external customers.
Skills and QualificationsTime management
Ability to think strategically and anticipate future needs
Experience with Auto Hauling and Driving Trucks
Must have a valid US driver’s license
2+ years of related work experience
Commercial Drivers License
