Position:

The Sr. Program Manager will work in the Technology Enabled Services (TES) Business Unit supporting key strategic transformational programs & projects. The responsibilities of this role range from identifying, assessing, and implementing opportunities to optimize business operations and achieve business results within a certain set of tight timeframes. This includes significant interaction, influence, and buy-in with senior leadership (BU President, SVPs, and CTO, etc.)Core Responsibilities: Take accountability for and lead the planning and ultimate implementation of multiple high priority, complex and competing foundational and/or transformational projects

Ensure delivery per timelines, budget, and targeted business benefits

Utilize extensive previous experience and best practices across the project management lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close) to ensure we can meet multi-million dollar cost savings within tight time frames

Initiate and engage with various resources (business process architects, business analysts, SMEs, and other) to drive the evaluation of efficiency improvement opportunities, development of business cases, and implementation to support continuous improvement opportunity for future state savings

Provide timely and relevant status updates, including recommendations and potential mitigation options for any issues or risks, to various key business stakeholders ranging from President of Business Unit, General Managers, Senior Leadership Team, Business leads, and Project Teams (based on urgency & financial impact), in order to make more informed data-driven decisions and improve project success rates

Requirements:

8+ years of strong program/project management experience, developing project plans, tracking, and managing issues to resolution, achieving project milestones on budget and in time; experience managing 3-5 complex projects at any given time spanning across the business

3+ years of healthcare industry experience

Ability to execute effectively includes a clear understanding of the urgency and scope of work and provide additional recommendations on standards, tools, and process to meet expected targets

Creative thinking, problem-solving, and thought leadership are also required to ensure targets are met

Strong experience with implementation, problem analysis and solutioning supporting transformational projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Outsourcing/Off-shore PM experience

Project Management Professional (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification (e.g. Certified Project Management Practitioner, International Project Management Association)

Lean Management or Six Sigma certification (Black Belt, a plus)

MBA

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Travel:

Position may require up to 20% overnight travel. This travel could include travel to offsite client meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
