We're looking for a leader in our Data Engineering team to work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to support product launches and roadmaps by building the data architecture that informs and drives insight. You'll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, work with one of the richest data sets in the world, use cutting edge technology, and see your efforts affect products and people on a regular basis.The perfect candidate will have strong data infrastructure and data architecture skills, a proven track record of leading and scaling BI teams, strong operational skills to drive efficiency and speed, strong project management leadership, and a strong vision for how BI can proactively improve companies.Required Skills: Data Engineering Manager, Analytics (Growth) Responsibilities:Work with other leads from product, engineering, data science and research, to identify and build data products that will aid with the identification, analysis, goal setting and tracking with insights

Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and provide technical guidance on the data products

Define data strategy and vision to build sustainable data infra and guide product strategy through data

Develop roadmaps for both product related DE work as well as overall data maturity roadmap

Lead/support initiatives to up level the data engineering functions

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Data architecture experience.

BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical field.

Project management experience.

6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.

Experience in SQL or similar languages and development experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, etc.).

Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving projects.

Experience scaling and managing teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Experience with data sets, Hive, and data visualization tools.

Experience in a consumer web or mobile company.

Advanced degree.
