The ideal candidate will be able to research, design, develop, modify, document, test, debug and maintain functionalities for the Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) software application. The ideal candidate needs to have an active Secret security clearance.Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.Required:Active Secret security clearanceRequired Skills / Experience:Overall 8+ years of experience with Java development in a working environment

Experience developing client and server side web applications using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Java

Server Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, etc.

Creating and editing PDFs with Adobe Experience Manager – Forms Designer

Need experience with Adobe forms in converting the current Adobe XFA format forms into an Adobe forms format that will display the forms properly, allow the user to fill out the forms, digitally sign them and print them using MS Edge browser.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Experience correcting software deficiencies and developing new capabilities

Database experience with SQL, ideally PL/SQL

Great communication skills

Self-starter

Desired Skills:Versioning and revision control system, ideally Apache Subversion

HP Application Lifecycle Manager

Developing integration software specifically Oracle WebLogic
