On Call Removal Technician for Funeral Home (forsyth)

Hiring Part-time On Call Removal Technician needed for Transport of the deceased from the death scene to the funeral home.

Job Requirements Include but are not limited to:

Clean Driving Record

Well Groomed no visible tattoos or piercings.

Strong Communication and Phone Skills

Live within 10 minutes of funeral home

Previous experience as Fire/EMS preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

Strength and Flexibility

Strong enough to do sustained lifting and moving

Ability to answer calls and respond quickly at all hours of the day and night

Job Duties

Pick up deceased at private homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and county morgues. Drive Vans and operate all equipment in a safe manner. Maintain company vehicles cleanliness and fuel levels. Gather necessary vital statistics information. Casket and Dress remains occasionally. Close and secure caskets lead funeral corteges to churches and burial sites. Display highest level of professionalism and sensitivity when dealing with grieving family members. Assist with Visitations and memorial services. Other housekeeping and office duties as required.

Pay

$15/hr for services — $50 for on call removal
