Part-time, semi-skilled labor in lab environment, $18-$20/hour (Pleasantville, NY)

Part-time position available immediately at our laboratory in Pleasantville, NY. Mon. - Fri., 15-18 hours total. Looking for a person who is comfortable with power tools and capable of working efficiently and accurately. Must be mature, careful, and safety conscious. Must be comfortable working in a professional environment. Must be willing to follow instructions carefully and work within set time constraints. A strong work ethic is an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of test samples using masonry saws, grinders, polishing wheels, and drills (will train).

- Cleaning and maintenance of shop and lab areas.

- Some occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.

- Assist lab staff with various labor tasks.

- Special projects as necessary (for example, assistance with lab build-outs)
