Electronic TechnicianMillstream Associates

Our client, located near the NH/Maine border, is seeking an Electronic Technician. Full or part-time positions available. This is a direct hire (non-temporary) position. Benefits will not be offered at this time.
Responsibilities include:
- Check all production boards for correct operation and function.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair boards and circuits to restore correct operation.
- Help assembly personnel to ensure proper positioning and connections of pc boards and components into metal chassis, perform and oversee IC and component sub-assembly, wire connectors, assemble electrical wiring to components.
- Able to perform and help with general production duties as well as organizing and performing pcb cleaning functions.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Manual dexterity (good with hands)
- Able to quickly recognize component differences
- Familiarity with soldering, desoldering and assembly tools
- Knowledge and understanding of op amps, ICs, IGBTs, FETs, gate switching functions and knows procedures to analyze and locate bad components; willing to learn
- Good demeanor, friendly: gets along with others
- Takes and comprehends directions and correctly acts on them
- Ability to recognize assembly issues and problems and make constructive suggestions/troubleshoot
- Works as a team player to complete job efficiently and timely
- Previous small manufacturing business experience a plus; 4-5 years preferred
- Maintains neat work area and does not leave tools misplaced
Education required:
High school diploma; college coursework or associate degree in electronics
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have reliable transportation
