Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an entry-level Electrical Design Engineer who will provide engineering support for Boeing Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others). This entry-level position will be physically located in Oklahoma City, OK.If you have an engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Oklahoma and are not currently working in the aerospace sector in Oklahoma, you may qualify for a $5000 tax credit from the state of Oklahoma for up to five years. Click here (https://www.taxformfinder.org/oklahoma/form-564) for more information on the tax credit.Position Responsibilities:Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.

Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.

Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.

Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.

Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.

Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Bachelor’s, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2022

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Education or experience in Electrical Engineering

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
