Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Interventional Radiology, this position is responsible for performing routine and specialized radiographic procedures in the Special Procedures areas, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.

Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.

Valid CRT certification is required.

Fluoroscopy permit from the State of California is required.

ARRT Certification in Cardiac-Interventional (CI) Radiography or Vascular Interventional (VI) Radiography is preferred.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

Experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

One year of experience in Special Procedures/Cardiac Cath Lab, including utilization of digital subtraction angiography, and sophisticated vascular imaging equipment is required.

Ability to perform all Special Procedures examinations independently or with minimal supervision is required.

Knowledge of radiation physics, anatomy and radiographic positioning, as well as familiarity with a variety of radiographic and support equipment is required.

Must function as a resource to co-workers and students.

Willingness to actively participate on Hospital/Department Committees as assigned is required.

Projecting a professional image to patients, physicians, the public, and other health care providers is required.

Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills, and excellent customer service orientation is required.
