HR Accounting Associate

DescriptionRobert Half Finance and Accounting is looking to fill a position for a large corporation with an office in the Caldwell area. If you are looking to work in the Human Resources area then this role is for you!The person in this role will be responsible for the following: Day-to-day employee inquiries Benefits administration (medical/dental, vision, life insurance, cobra, 401k, PTO, etc.) Payroll administration using QTS Software (4 entities, approximately 110 individuals in total) Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations Onboarding/Offboarding Lead recruiting/hiring processes Manage 360-degree annual review process (leveraging internally developed software) Working with functional managers to develop and document interim review processes Automate and streamline processes and migrate to largely paperless environmentAdditionally the person in this role will be the management of all aspects of the human resource management function with secondary responsibility for accounting support with cross training in the following areas, including:o Executing journal entrieso Assisting with month-end business unit closeso Reconciliations of bank and other statementso Accounts receivable and accounts payableo Other financial analysisThe position will report to the Divisional Controller and Chief Financial Officer.Please call our office and speak with our Accounting and Finance Division Director Dan Strunk to learn more about this role! 208.336.9220Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (minor/focus on accounting preferred) 3-5 years of Experience in Human Resources field Strong written and verbal communication skills Well versed in principles of employee relations Strong technology competency High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Ability to automate processes to move to paperless environment Position will be expected to also perform accounting related tasks so basic accounting & financial reporting knowledge strongly preferredPersonal Characteristics Exceptional interpersonal skills Positive attitude Intelligent, Honest, Ethical & Trustworthy Proactive, driven/motivated Winning, collaborative attitude and approach Comfortable in basic industry businesses Strong work ethic and highly responsible, taking ownership Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet required deadlines Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities with limited supervision Challenge, and effectively interface with, staff from all disciplinesRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled finance and accounting professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
