The Enterprise Storage Architect will work with Project Managers on the configuration and deployment of servers and security groups to meet the needs of each project. The Architect will also work with business units and stakeholders to implement, configure, deploy, and optimize the central monitoring nucleus of the technology infrastructure for business sustainment.
Experience- Experience designing and engineering commercial cloud environments, architectures, and designs
- Strong relevant experience in a large virtualized environment including virtual networking and storage management
- Strong analytical, communication, problem solving skills on Active Directory, NDS, GPO, DHCP, Event Logs, File Server, Server Load Balancer, Storage, and solution implementation experience
- Hands-on experience in patch management lifecycle
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders/3rd party vendors for break fix
- Experience calculating storage metrics with new technologies to increase efficiency
- Experience handling replication of DR data to ensure data is can be recovered in case of any failures
- Experience resolving storage issues using NFS, Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and CIFS protocols
- Versed on security governance standards/policies/organizations such as PCI, HIPPA, CJIS, and GCIC
- 7+ years of experience with engineering and administration in virtualized environments
- Expert knowledge in storage technologies (NetApp, Hitachi, IBM, or EMC preferred)
- Experience as a Windows/Linux system administrator supporting a large enterprise environment
- Knowledge of MS Active Directory, Windows, 2008/2012/2016, Linux/UNIX operating systems
- Administrative experience in VMware, MS Azure, or AWS
- Scripting experience in MS Powershell and vShere PowerCLI
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of security standards such a FedRAMP, FISMA, and SRG.
- Certifications: CCNP-Data Center, SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Brocade Certified Network Engineer, EMC Storage Administrator Track, HP Master ASE: Storage Solutions Architect VI, or Hitachi Data Systems Qualified Professional Storage Administration
