If you are a hard worker, with a solid attention to detail and enjoy continuous development, we would love to hear from you.Job Summary: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process to maintain the quality of the products. Provides input into day to day issues and works with manufacturing to resolve discrepancies.Please note that you must have experience using an Optical Comparator.Responsibilities:Understand the procedures relating to the Quality department.Verify dimensional and functional requirements.Oversee 100% inspectionFinal inspectionSampling and inspection of partsDocumentation of resultsCommunicate with manufacturing to resolve issues.Corrective ActionsWrite up internal Corrective Actions.Write up receiving Corrective Actions.Brainstorm and resolve day to day issues.Present suspect issues to manufacturing management.Communicate with manufacturing to resolve measurement discrepancies.Filing Quality documents.Safety within the departmentCleanliness within the department.Department meetingsPresent topics for discussion.Communicate and give input.TrainingCross training others within the department when required.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMSkills:mechanical inspectingprecision instrumentsReading blueprintsdocumentationInternal auditingattn to detail/accuracyatten/puncfollow upscommunicationorganizational skillsclose tolerancecalibrationmeeting deadlinesEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:Combined sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasks.Reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching or stooping on a frequent basis.Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to use computer for extended periods of time.Walking 20, standing 20, sitting 60, lifting 25 LBS. or less.Good knowledge of blueprint reading and dimensioning tolerancing per ASME Y14. 5MHand dexterity, coordination, and accuracy.Ability to perform written and oral communications and special reports.Ability to communicate & interface well with a wide range of people.We are interviewing virtually or in person and look forward to hearing from you.
