Role: Cybersecurity Architect Contract length: 4 months with possible extensions Location: Memphis TN Must be ONSITE from Day 1 Essential Job Functions

  • Develop a complete understanding of a company's technology and information systems
  • Design, build, implement and support enterprise-class security systems
  • Align organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Plan, research, and design robust security architectures for any IT project
  • Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessments
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Review and approve the installation of firewall, VPN, routers, IDS scanning technologies, and servers
  • Test security systems to ensure they behave as expected
  • Use current programming language and technologies to write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications
  • Provide supervision and guidance to a security team
  • Define, implement, and maintain corporate security policies and procedures
  • Train users during implementation or conversion of systems
  • Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis
  • Regularly communicate vital information, security needs, and priorities to upper management
  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or acquired CISSP 5+ years in the related field experience is preferred Experience with Cloud Access Secure Broker solutions/implementations is preferred Experience with Secure Gateways is preferred Experience with NIST compliance and implementation of Azure Security best practices is preferred Ability to write technical documents and cross-train peers during a project is preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience writing Incident Response Plans
  • Experience completing vulnerability scans, security assessments, and application code assessments
  • Experience with Active Directory/Azure environments
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
