What difference will you make?This role will work with a subdivision within Cigna called CareAllies. CareAllies is a Management Company that works side-by-side with providers and payer entities to help improve the quality, value and the experience of care for patients, to make health care better for everyone. As a part of the Provider Engagement Development Program, you will be working closely with providers to accelerate their transition to value-based care and to help them manage the long-term health of their patients. CareAllies’ consultative approach emphasizes physician engagement, delivery system organization and culture change, actionable data and analytics, as well as patient engagement to support treatment plans. We collaborate with providers to drive change and ensure success in a value-based market.What You’ll DoCareAllies Provider Engagement Development Program is designed for someone early in their career to further develop management skills and provide experience working in a dynamic, flexible work environment. The Provider Engagement Development Program offers:“Real work”: Over the course of Provider Engagement Development Program you will be assigned tasks and projects that challenges analytic and implementation skills, while building industry knowledge. Your work will also allow you to make direct contributions to our mission and company goals.

Participants in this program are Provider Engagement Representatives “in training.” The work they will do will directly impact the physicians they work with. A few examples include:

Analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement for their physicians performance

Monitoring and tracking project implementations such as the new Clinical Data Integration platform

Leading reporting initiatives such as Medication Adherence which allows physicians know which of their patients are overdue for their medication refills and strategizing ways to get them compliant

Attending retreats to get face-to-face time with all physicians in the market you work with and build relationships with them.

Community: Build relationships with our cross functional partners, team members and other program peers.

Leader Speaker Series: You and your fellow peers will be exposed to a variety of sessions and presentations given by members of the Cigna community.

QualificationsWhat you need to do the jobBachelor’s Degree required

Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Operations, Public Health, or Professional Sales

Solid understanding of health insurance, customer messaging/design and project management required

Team player with proven ability to foster and manage working relationships within a matrix environment to obtain buy-in and drive results.

Creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate ideas into actions

Strong problem solving skills

Work Designation: This role is a Flex role, which requires a combination of in-office days, WAH, and field work. Car and Valid Driver’s License is required (mileage reimbursement provided)

Work Authorization : One goal of our Provider Engagement Development Program is to pipeline early career talent into the organization. Therefore, this role is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Schedule: You must be available to begin work on January 23, 2023 . Work schedule is 40 hours/week, which may include after-hours meetings with physicians. Working hours are Monday – Friday.
