Great Metal Designs, a custom ornamental iron work company based in the Bay Area, is looking for a full-time contractor helper.
The contractor helper works with the metal contractor 80% of the time. Work is heavy (50lbs+) and involves exposure to heat, & loud noise. This is a great opportunity to learn the welding trade and become a welding technician.
Work schedule is M-F (plus some Saturdays and overtime) from 8am-4:30pm (earlier start in the summer). Tools provided.

Has a good attitude
Has the ability to understand and follow directions
Is willing to learn
Is a hard worker

Is punctual
Has some basic knowledge of hand and power tools (training will be provided)
Requirements
Must have transportation
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must provide two professional references
Must be in good physical condition
No drugs
