Support the team with the client research, Unanet CRM data entries and meeting preparations. Travel will be required. ResponsibilitiesSupports the CED private sector BD team to assist with the growth of client and revenue expansion for the Company. Research new clients, via networking, internet, documents, and interviews. Utilize ZoomInfo and other industry websites to conduct research and support forecasting and upcoming business opportunities, as well as pre-positioning and partnering on specific opportunities. Supports the business development team to help managing existing client relationships the Team has established. Communicates with clients following employee led presentations (i.e., provide supporting documents and scheduling follow-up meetings, etc.). Follow up employee led BD activities resulting from presentations between clients, CED staff and partnering companies. Works as a team with in-house staff concerned with new business, including support of staff pursuing work. This includes coordination and support of marketing for proposal related activities. Schedules presentations/meetings with clients. Manages communications with all parties involved with employee led presentations. Must be available for night/evening/weekend working hours (as needed). Develops positive relationships with new clients. Communicates well with a wide range of occupational levels. Represents the firm in a professional, upstanding manner. Always keeps company image and marketing efforts in forefront. Support the Marketing team as required to enhance and improve company related marketing, messaging, social media, and website presence. Develops contact information for new client and utilize Unanet to track contact information and related sales activities Coordinates seminars to help brand CED professionals as experts within the industry. Plan networking receptions at industry conferences when appropriate budgeting permits.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Engineering or other applicable design or science field. Experience: previous sales experience preferred. Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Unanet)Physical Requirements Ability to sit for long durations of time. Extended periods of time operating a computer in a stationary position.Working Conditions/Environment Office environment.
