Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Hilo)

Immediate Opening for an experienced Mid Level Provider to help support our Medical/Surgical practice. Minimum 3 years of experience is required. A strong general medical background is essential, though we are a surgical subspecialty office with a focus on peripheral vascular and venous disease.

This is a 2 - 3 day per week position, depending on interest and availability. Will be a set schedule, typically Mon and Tuesday, with the possibility of adding a Friday as well

This is a purely OUTPATIENT office based position. There is no hospital work. There are no nights, no week ends, and no call associated with this position

The Part time position is Monday and or Tuesday only, while the Full Time position is 3 days per week, Monday/Tuesday/Friday

Duties and responsibilities include initial clinical assessments, pre operative and post procedure follow up examinations, and some wound care

The successful applicant will have a strong medical background. Some surgical and wound care experience is helpful, but we will train the otherwise solid applicant. The position involves a lot of patient and family education, so excellent communication skills are essential. Other important attributes include a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a problem solving " can do " attitude and disposition, efficient, and excellent attendance.
