Job Description: Senior Omni-Commerce Payments Product Manager The client is looking for a Product Leader to shape the future of their Global Omni-Commerce payments experience. In this role, you will manage a global team of Product Managers, collaborate day-to-day with Engineers, influence industry standards and payment partnerships, and domain experts to deliver a Best-in-Class payments experience through the Global Omni-Commerce Platform.Our ideal candidate has managed technical products and/or modern platform delivery at scale and is obsessed with solving for user needs. They are very technical, able to put themselves in the shoes of our developer users, but also have an extreme attention to detail when it comes to the Omni-Commerce customer experience.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience- At least 10 or more years of related work experienceResponsibilities:
  • Define & coordinate a multi-year strategic global Omni-Commerce vision - product roadmaps, technology blueprint, product prioritization, execution and support across all aspects of the Omni-commerce Payments experience, developing and adapting over time as required
    • This includes both the In-person payment experience - traditional Swipe/EMV Card Payments, Mobile/Digital Wallet, Contactless, QR Code, Android CPOC, iOS 'Tap to Pay etc and remote payment experience - eCommerce, Invoicing, Buy Now Pay Later, Recurring, ACH, Real-time Payments etc
  • Lead your team in breaking your vision down into measurable, meaningful milestones for the progressive delivery of an omni-commerce payments experience. This includes creating buy-in up to executive level, crafting roadmaps & OKRs, and navigating trade-offs
  • Use metrics & competitive analysis to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success & influence direction
  • Drive the enforcement of compliance, internally with organizational policy and security guidelines and externally in line with PCI standards, card scheme regulations, local government policy etc.
  • Lead and/or support cross-functional working groups and forums designed to guide the direction of omni-commerce capabilities. Provide leadership and guidance within these groups to ensure progress.
Preferred Skills/Experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical discipline- 12+ years of relevant product experience in payments technology with a minimum of 10 years in card payments or merchant acquiring industry- Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into phased platform feature delivery, executed in agile fashion- Ability to lead & influence at every phase of the product lifecycle from vision/ideation, to design & solution evaluation, to UX definition, to build, to GTM readiness & launch- Previous experience of operating in and delivering large scale technology transformation in a Cloud first, Microservice Design domain along with its associated methodologies & technologies- Deep knowledge & awareness of the current Omni-Commerce market landscape including key players, emerging trends & technologies & customer behaviors in the Payments Acceptance space- Technical expertise in the area of APIs, SDKs and modern technology integration methodologies & toolsets Familiarity with roadmap & backlog management tools such as Jira, Version 1, Confluence.
