RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager.Summary:As Senior QA Manager you will be part of a global quality management team striving for outstanding quality of products and services. A broad background in quality software development practices, tools, and processes is required to be successful in this position. Responsibilities: Senior QA Manager will define and deploy quality targets for our products based on customer, market, and application requirements Define and maintains program level software quality engineering processes, resources, and infrastructure Develop a product quality and testing strategy and plan based on Product and customer requirements or technology innovation Lead and manage several teams of onshore and offshore QA resources and engineers across multiple product lines in testing strategy, test plan development, testing preparation, automation, execution, and reporting Verifies that product testing is accomplished per product release requirements and documentation Work with sites to develop maturity of Zero Defect approach and to execute a reduction in customer quality escapes and complaints Cooperate with other internal business and operational functions for all Quality Management aspects across all product lines As a Senior QA Manager, you will deploy new Quality Tools & Methods as needed Standardize defect tracking, resolution and ensure completion and delivery to customers Train and coach other colleagues in the Quality Management team in building a best-in class processes and automation tools Supports the identification and analysis of product software metrics to improve software quality and manage risk Drive information and documentation of product quality related topics like quality related queries and documentsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related subject matter or equivalent work experience QA professional with solid understanding of product lifecycles and 10+ years of software industry and management experience Must have minimum 5+ years of experience in testing products and platforms in Windows, Cloud solutions, Java, Web and native apps, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, front end, backend, and integration testing At least 4 years of experience building and leading Quality assurance teams Must have minimum 3+ years of experience in Automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, JUnit, Soap UI or other Experience with Agile and knowledge of quality is a must Experience with test suites in Jira XRay, Azure DevOps and/or Cucumber is preferred Experience in developing continuous integration pipelines for portal, mobile & API testing is highly preferred Demonstratable and proven analytical and problem-solving skills and solid understanding of how systems interact Solid understanding of test repository or defect tracking systemsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
