- This is a dynamic software engineering opportunity to design and develop advanced solutions that automate and streamline healthcare systems, processes, and workflows
- The Software Engineer will design and develop robust, scalable, and supportable solutions and you will work in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Additionally you will be responsible for implementing technical requirements and business change requests.
- This role requires a highly analytical problem solver with both Java and SQL expertise coupled with excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Your success will depend on your ability to communicate and problem solve effectively a diverse group of cross-functional team members
- Designs, implements, and validates product requirements
- Develops, reviews, and tests code to satisfy the requirements and see them through the entire lifecycle process from start to finish
- Collaborates on technical requirements and change requests with product owners, development team members and other key stakeholders
- Participates in peer code reviews and testing
- Engage with other team members of the engineering department to continually improve quality, performance, testability, and maintainability of code
- BS in Computer Science required
- 3-5+ years working in software development environments using Java, Web, and Transaction SQL with application analysis and design experience
- Background in technologies such as client/server, relational database management systems, object-oriented development, Angular 4, design patterns, Spring, Hibernate, application servers
- Experience with JavaEE, web services (SOAP & REST), JBoss application server skills, Eclipse and related Java development tools
- 2+ years of experience with relational database dependency on MS SQL Server. NoSQL experience a plus
- Microservice development , C#, Blazor UI web development skills are a plus
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Prior healthcare experience a plus
