Job Description
Senior .Net Developer This client is a technology-driven online brokerage firm. They focus on helping self-directed traders, asset managers, and investment professionals with their accessible, intuitive software solutions to help them find trading and investing ideas, analyze and research these ideas, decide whether they want to trade or invest, and ultimately have complete control in managing their portfolios. They are looking for a Senior level .Net Developer to join their crew, ready to architect and implement code, as well as their public facing applications. You'll be building new back end and feature for their upcoming generation platform, as well as other internal applications and services. This is a hybrid position, onsite days are located in the Chicago Loop. What you'll need Basic Qualifications- BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Full-lifecycle software development experience using object-oriented languages
- Experience with working in, and thrives in, a fast-paced environment
- Highly driven, productive individual who can work both independently and in an interactive team environment
- A positive and friendly attitude
- 5+ years of software development experience, with experience in .NET using C# and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in financial/trading industry, specifically equities and options
- Understanding of modern services architectures
- Programming experience in a multi-threaded, service-oriented environment
