Senior Backend Engineer - Python

A social network company in the educational technology space that is hiring for a Python Developer. Their software applications allow students to manage tasks, communicate with other students and teachers, and organize assignments. They are expanding to schools throughout the US and are looking for help as they scale up operations. They are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with experience in RESTful microservices and APIs. They use Django, Flask, and FastAPI frameworks in their work as well as AWS. Any experience building scalable distributed systems is also a huge plus as they are growing rapidly. This is a full, time remote role! Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or other cloud-hosted infrastructure
• Experience with Microservices
