Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.Department DetailsThis is a full-time, straight night position working hours between 2200-0700. Schedule includes every third weekend along with two holidays out of the year. Daily tasks will involve drawing of blood specimens on adult and pediatric patients and processing of blood and non-blood specimens.QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
