Great Falls Periodontics and Dental Implants is seeking a full-time dental assistant to fill a clinical role that assists the practitioner with new patient exams, re-evaluations, some surgical procedures and assists hygiene staff when necessary.
Applicant must be a motivated, self-starter with strong communication and computer skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure all patient records and related documents are managed and maintained timely, accurately and consistently. Complete patient charting within established standards, verify chart for completeness. Enter all applicable data into office software and prepare post-appointment correspondence. Seat patients courteously, record vitals, expose necessary diagnostic radiographs as indicated by treatment plan or provider, assist with discharging patients at the end of the office visit. Sterilize or disinfect instruments, set-up instrument trays, prepare materials for patient visit, set-up and break-down of clinical rooms. Assist the doctor and hygiene staff as necessary.
Clinical and radiography background is beneficial.
Registered for radiography in the State of Montana will be required. On site training is available.
