Job Description . As a
Lead Technology Architect, you will have the opportunity to craft, communicate and justify solution roadmaps for the datacenter network infrastructure portfolio. Leveraging your analytical skills, you will analyze network needs and define scope requirements to ensure it meets stakeholder needs, including performance, reliability, and design for the hosted datacenter network technologies. Additional responsibilities include collaborating to set priorities for development and operational efforts based on alignment with business goals, strategic direction, voice-of-the stakeholder feedback, timelines and commitments; collaborating with internal teams and other stakeholders to set SLA's that measure the performance of the datacenter network; and through market research and supplier management remain current on emerging technology features and functionally for internal and external stakeholders. Through your strong interpersonal skills, you will work with internal engineering and operational teams to define the strategy, vision and roadmap of the datacenter network infrastructure. Working Environment REMOTE This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 3 years system engineering and/or system architecture work experience
- At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to travel up to 60% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
