Our client needs a talented Developer, well versed in SQL and C#, to join their team in Hartford.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the SQL C# Developer: - Participate in full stack development and work on an Agile engineering team to develop maintainable and scalable code for the front, middle, and back office investing tools
- Collaborate with management to design, develop, test and deploy software that impacts our customers and inspires your peers
- Communicate with demonstrations and documentation to ensure application changes are well understood
- Create technical design documentation, estimates, and plans for software projects
- Create and execute unit test plans
Requirements of the SQL C# Developer: - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience developing and delivering reliable and maintainable software or services on the Microsoft stack
- Experience with the following: C#, ASP.NET, relational databases, API development, Git version control, Agile/Kanban, unit testing concepts and frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficient in object-oriented design and development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Financial services background a big plus!
