JOB DESCRIPTION The Regional Senior Security Analyst position is a hybrid remote position. Primarily this will be remote with exceptions that will include some defined time in an office environment in the Fort Lauderdale area. The Senior Security Analyst will work with a team and independently to support Information Security activities including risk identification and remediation, control assessments, information security initiatives, and metrics reporting while using NIST Cybersecurity Framework as a basis. The role will be primarily responsible for working with partners to architect and implement an ITAR restricted environment which will include risk assessments and remediation daily. The role will be a key member of a global team for implementing a Safety Awareness program for continued end user security awareness. As Daher has several locations across North America, there will be some travel as required by business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
  • Work with a larger global security team and third-party partners to architect, design, implement, maintain, and operate information system security controls and countermeasures.
  • Works with information security teams to coordinate, evaluate, and improve current NIST maturity level across the region.
  • Serve as local point of contact for security services support and security incident management.
  • Resolve security issues arising from investigations and incidents and preform postmortems.
  • Work third party security partners to develop and implement measures, tools, and technology to monitor compliance with company security policies, ITAR regulations, DoD restrictions, and NIST best practices and procedures.
  • Acts as an advocate of information security policies, standards and as a mechanism to enable the business effectively while managing risk appropriately.
  • Monitor and stay up to date with security-related proven practices and technology.
  • Regularly support and handle safety audit and compliance programs of the plant.
  • Handle locally the security platforms and network security tools and processes.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the environment.
  • Complete analysis and provide reports of incident and alerts.
  • Document standard operating procedures for help desk personnel.
  • Train and educate users, technical staff and other operational relays on new technologies and systems, ensuring the proper application of technical security measures
  • Contribute to maintaining security solutions in operational condition.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ Cybersecurity engineering and/or analyst experience in large, complex corporate environments, particularly national and global infrastructures.
  • Five years’ experience working with NIST best practices, ITAR, DoD, or other government related restrictions.
  • Advance experience with network defense, endpoint protection, forensics, data protection, and incident response
  • Additional experience with automation, networking, or infrastructure administration in a complex environment
  • In depth expertise with industry trusted security infrastructure and posture management tools
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be able to take the initiative and work without direct supervision
  • Experience in technical leadership and ability to provide training and guidance in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Able to conduct research into Cyber Security trends, issues, and products as required
  • Some travel required as needed.
