Provide support to patients and their families for the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA), a healthcare focused non-profit. Under the direction of the executive director, this position answers incoming calls and emails, cultivates relationships with donors and volunteers, acts as liaison to Ambassadors and support groups, and performs other related duties as needed.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

Respond to patient and family support inquiries via phone, email & Facebook messaging, referring people to appropriate resources.

Cultivate relationships with patients/their families and volunteers.

Encourage people you have helped to support VeDA.

Manage volunteer program.

Manage Ambassador program.

Manage Support Group program.

Participate as a member of the Patient Education and Patient Support Committees.

Moderate online forum.

Skills & Experience:

Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting

Social work or counseling education or experience

Experience entering records into a customer relationship management (CRM) database

Word processing and spreadsheet proficiency

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:30am-5pm

Starting Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
