If you have a passion for rallying together to solve the most complex challenges in the financial services industry, come join our dynamic FSO team!The opportunityEY is looking for well-qualified Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Manager Consultants to join our Financial Services Risk Management - Business Advisory Services team. Ideal candidates will have experience in a financial services, regulatory, or consulting environment as well as strong leadership, project management, and communications skills. A good understanding of counterparty credit risk and capital markets traded products is key.CCR continues to be a fast-growing focus area for Financial Services Risk Management practice and our broader Corporate and Investment Banking Transformation Solutions business. As a CCR consultant, you will play a key role in assisting our financial services clients to improve their overall risk management. An important aspect of your role will be contributing to exceptional performance on client engagements and creating innovative solutions and approaches designed to address ever-changing regulatory demands, industry trends, and client needs. Establishing, maintaining, and strengthening client relationships will be crucial to success. You will have an opportunity to partner with industry leaders at some of the world’s largest and most complex financial institutions to help them develop and execute industry-leading CCR risk management, measurement, and mitigation strategies designed to address challenges arising from processes and procedures; controls; models and methodologies; data; technology; and complex regulations.Your Key ResponsibilitiesActively participate and contribute to credit risk and CCR client engagements

Support EY’s internal CCR business development and go to market (GTM) initiatives

Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress

Assist in preparing and presenting work products for EY clients

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

Build strong internal relationships within Consulting and across other services

Skills and attributes for successConfident and credible communicator with good technical knowledge and commercial understanding

Project management and strong report writing skills

Experience in stakeholder and client management

Ability to drive business development and contribute to the growth of the EY market solutions

To qualify for the role you must haveDemonstrable, relevant experience in banking and capital markets and counterparty credit risk

Experience in Counterparty Credit Risk as part of first or second line of defense with Top Tier firm – ideally with experience in a counterparty credit officer capacity or in portfolio/risk management function

Strong leadership skills

3 – 5 years related experience

Ideally, you’ll also haveSignificant experience in CCR products, including bilateral and listed derivatives, repurchase agreements (i.e., repo), securities lending, and prime brokerage/margin loans

Experience or knowledge of Central Counterparties (CCP) and cleared derivatives

Strong experience with underwriting, credit analysis/reviews and risk ratings

General understanding of counterparty trading agreements (e.g., ISDA/CSA, MRA, MSLA), netting, and financial collateral (i.e., cash and securities)

Foundational knowledge of counterparty credit risk measurements including potential future exposure (PFE), settlement risk, wrong way risk (WWR), risk factor sensitivities, counterparty stress testing and capital (e.g., SA-CCR, EAD, RWA)

Awareness of the types of counterparties that engage in counterparty credit risk transactions (e.g., banks, broker dealers, hedge funds, mutual funds, pension/endowment funds, insurance companies, and how financial institutions seek to mitigate their risk to counterparties
