Data Engineer IIICharlotte, North Carolina;Richmond, VirginiaJob Description:Position SummaryDatabase analyst who will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining a MS SQL database that sources data from various systems and designing data visualization solutions with Tableau.

Should have knowledge of ETL and understand intricacies of database model design, and performance optimizations for in-database SQL processing.

Collaborate with business partners, project teams to gather requirements and deliver on database needs to serve reporting and analytics function.

Database design/ETL expertise.

MS SQL Server Management Studio/MS SQL Server Integration Studio OR Alteryx for data workflow design.

Required SkillsUnderstanding of data modeling, database design and data warehousing.

Proficiency in T-SQL - to design, develop, implement and optimize database solutions (performance tuning), as per business needs.

Expertise in creating and maintaining data models and high performing ETL routines.

Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Alteryx.

Automation using Autosys to enhance ETL, data integrity and data processing.

Ability to write and analyze complex queries, stored procedures

Minimum of 5 years work experience

Desired SkillsWork experience with Business Intelligence (data architecture, entity relationship planning) preferred

Knowledge of the different types of databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)

Experience working in Agile environment (JIRA/Scrum board) and well-versed with version control/code repository like GitHub

Programming knowledge (VBA, Python, C, Java)

Experience with data workflow design using Alteryx

Experience with design and development of reports in Tableau
