Building Materials Sales (Wenatchee WA)

We are looking for an individual experienced in building material sales and/or residential construction. Overview

Provide basic information for customers in person, via email and telephone.

Assist with material estimates, price quotations, invoicing and delivery schedules.

Accurately order building materials, lumber, hardware and millwork to meet customer needs and our commitments.

Excellent communication skills

Handle routine customer questions

Exceptional problem resolution skills.

Work with and leverage the team to successfully meet customers’ needs

Ability to work with urgency to meet customer expectations

Assist customer in obtaining credit.

Ability to handle a multitude of tasks through prioritized multitasking.

May perform other jobs as assigned.

Qualifications

Sales and customer service experience required

Knowledge of the construction industry preferred

Ability to read blueprints and estimate construction materials preferred

Knowledge of residential construction methods and techniques preferred

Ability to process $250-$350K in sales per month

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Reaching-extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.

Handling-seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hand(s).

Ability to sit for long periods of time
