Automation and Controls Specialist (McPherson, KS)

Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., a regional leader in the distribution sales of electrical materials, services and supplies, seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as an Automation and Controls Specialist, leading the sales and support effort for Programmable Automation/Logic Controllers, HMI, Enterprise Level Software and associated products throughout the Central and Western parts of Kansas. The responsibilities for the position include business/sales plan development and execution, internal and external customer training, technical and commercial knowledge and support of applicable and related products and internal and external product and sales support. Industry experience with automation and controls required. Process Control knowledge/experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, team selling, organizational and written/verbal communication skills required. Successful candidate will live within the territory and have a typical work week of M-F 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
