Home caregiver needed (Brunswick)

Our family needs help caring for 70 year old father with moderate-to-severe lewy body dementia (early onset). This would be for two full days a week (ideally 8 hours), with opportunity to sub in when our other caregiver is out or add part time hours on other days if interested. The days would either be Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Monday.

We are looking for someone who can spend time listening to him and help him do activities that he enjoys especially going to the beach or getting outside on low-key, quiet outings. He is still quite intellectual listens to audio versions of the new york times and new yorker daily, loves watching nature documentaries, or listening to buddhist books. That being said his dementia is pretty advanced and he doesn't always make sense, he has very low stamina, and he also hallucinates people often. We need someone who is comfortable with bathroom and bathing (he doesn't need much help now but will in the future).

Unfortunately he tends to either absolutely love or hate his caregivers So we would need to try this out and see if you get along. We definitely want someone who has experience working with dementia, ideally lewy body.

Current limitations:

Hearing loss, occasional incontinence, mobility and stamina issues (sometimes uses walker). We anticipate him needing help bathing in the future.
