Job Description
Chick-fil-A Prince Frederick is seeking a Back of House Director to join the leadership team in providing oversight and mentorship to 100+ team members. The ultimate goal for this person is to work alongside the Owner/Operator and leadership team to play a key role in leading the kitchen operations. This leader will oversee day-to-day operations of the Kitchen area, including training and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. They will spend time developing the team and leaders, working alongside them to achieve restaurant goals. After 2-3 years of learning and adding value to the business, this leader could continue to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or even pursue becoming an Owner/ Operator themselves through Chick-fil-A Corporate!
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and oversee all Kitchen and Back of House team and operations
- Work alongside the team in daily production and operation
- Perform daily assessments; problem solve where needed
- Drive a positive culture amongst the team
- Facilitate back of house interviews, hiring and training
- Perform team training and development, as well as evaluations and one-on-ones
- Track labor reporting and scheduling
- Daily safety and food evaluations
- Hold team accountable and perform disciplinary and corrective action when needed
- Meet regularly with the Operator and leadership team for development
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of leadership and/or management experience required
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Integrity; trustworthy; quickly owns up to mistakes
