Bartender Cashier

Job Description

Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar by performing the following duties:

• Mixes ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Serves wine and other draft or bottled beer
• Collects money for drinks served
• Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies
• Places bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
• May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
• May prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats
• Complete side work as established prior to next shift
• Monitor guests’ condition, re: overindulgence; Take appropriate preventative measures

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be willing to learn, and go through training for this restaurant
