Provide assistance to customers and provide support in all areas relating to customer service. Prepare costing estimates for manufacturing products to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates with customers by phone or e-mail & receives orders, changes or expedite requests.
Processes purchase orders and changes.
Expedites orders as required.
Responsible for calling customers for Purchase Orders.
Consult with customers and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Confer with engineers on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Pull together documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Any other functions or task assigned by Manager.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient computer skills - Word and Excel. Knowledge of AS400 and Lean Kit helpful.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
