Millwork AutoCAD/Microvellum Engineer

Pacific Millworks, a growing millwork company in Maui, Hawaii, is seeking an experienced millwork drafter/engineer to create accurate, highly detailed shop drawings for commercial and residential millwork projects. This person is responsible for ensuring that the engineering work is done accurately and in time to support the production schedule.

Potential for remote work with the right qualifications.

Requirements:

- Must be proficient with AutoCAD.

- 3 Years Microvellum experience is required.

- 7+ years of drafting & engineering experience within the architectural woodwork/millwork industry.  

- Understanding of hands-on production and/or installation processes. 

- Accurate understanding of BOM, cut-list, machining to parts, applicable hardware to incorporate into drafts.

Responsibilities:

- Effectively communicate with management and production team to obtain information needed for drawing sets.

- Create custom wood product drafts using AutoCAD and Microvellum. 

- Responsible for the creation of BOM, cut-lists, and product optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $72,800.00 per year
