Job title: Senior Rendering (3D graphics) Engineer Job location: San Mateo, CARemote Duration: Full time Purpose Of The JobAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will create core engine level technology that will power our future characters and player avatars. We are looking for engineers passionate about building cutting edge technology and world-class user experiences from both usability and performance perspectives.
Main Tasks And ResponsibilitieslImplement state-of-art character technology including but not limited to geometry, rendering, animation
lTake pride in creating a highly performant cross-platform application
lMaintain and improve existing codebase
lWrite and maintain automated tests
lAnalyze bug and crash reports, fix problems, and optimize performance
lCollaborate with numerous internal teams to help build the world’s best user-generated gaming platform
Must Have:l5+ years professional
lExperience as a rendering/graphics engineer
lStrong C skillset
lFluent in 3-D math and algorithms
lPerformance-driven focus, able to write tightly optimized code
lShader development in High Level Shader Languages (HLSL) or equivalent
lSelf-sufficient, self-organized, and able to take ownership of a project throughout its full lifecycle
lShader languages (production exp.)
lDirectX, OpenGL, materials, lightining (production exp).
Nice to Have:l·Low level rendering API’s such as Metal and Vulkan
l·Previous experience designing and coding a game engine from scratch
l·Console development experience.
