Manufacturer in the Westchester County is seeking an individual who can provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company's PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations. Working on projects and learning new technologies as the IT department grows. We are looking for an individual that can drive to work and travel within a 1 hour radius of Westchester County

Responsibilities:

ìàProvide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction

ìàMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk

ìàMonitor helpdesk tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first out based on priority

ìàModify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation

ìàKnowledge of Mail Systems, Ports, Networking Devices, Backups, Project Management and ITIL

ìàDocument internal procedures

ìàAssist with onboarding of new users

ìàEnsure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment

ìàInstall, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software

ìàMaintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses

IT Department documentation and procedures

ìàReview and update Help Desk documentation as assigned.

ìàKeep inventory documentation up to date on what we have.

ìàCreate new documentation for hardware and software systems

ìàTrack all task in the helpdesk ticketing system

Basic Requirements:

ìàHigh school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

ìàAssociate Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field (Not Require)

ìà1 - 5 years of relevant technical experience and customer service experience

ìàProcess one of the following or working towards one of the following: A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+
