Certified Medical Assistant (Psychiatric Services)

iNetMed is looking to fill one full-time Certified Medical Assistant who is a team player and can provide exceptional customer service to patients and doctors. Competitive salary based on experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

- Vitals

- Prepare medication refills and new medications for doctors

- Process in-house labs

- Patient Medication reconciliation

- Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) processing

- Nursing Intake for new and follow-up patients

- Referrals

- Coordinate hospital admission

- Asepsis

- Administer injections – beneficial

- ECGs – beneficial

- Must use discretion while maintaining patient confidentiality

- Prior Authorizations – beneficial

- Medical clearance

Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in writing, speaking, reading, and comprehending English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Exhibits a strong work ethic and is detailed oriented

Experience with electronic health records.

Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks in a timely fashion.

Exceptional social skills

Ability to assist in a variety of common office duties

Education and Experience:

CMA certified at hire, or within 6 months

High School Graduate

CPR certified at hire, or with 6 months

ECG certified beneficial

Other degrees or certificates a plus
