COLA is subject to change at any time.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for preparing OPORDS and CONOPS for SOCPAC assigned and apportioned forces, to execute CDRUSINDOPACOM directed missions.You will plan, coordinate and execute special operations activities in support of SecDef-directed operations in USINDOPACOM AOR, USINDOPACOM JCET Program and CJCS Joint Exercise Program involving SOF.You will serve as USINDOPACOM office of primary responsibility for all CT, OPE, PSYOPS, CA and contingency JTF 510.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsIn order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) determining and developing program goals and work plans for special operations of air, ground, and maritime activities; 2) developing analysis and proposals for organizational changes in areas of organizational structure, operational costs, and establishment/elimination of key positions; 3) prioritizing and assigning tasks to subordinates in support of achieving the command's mission; 4) assisting in the development of command directed, joint, combined, and unilateral special operations program activities (i.e. public relations and policy, congressional relations, and economic impact); 5) determining resource needs, allocating resources and accounts for the effective use of these resources in employing Special Operations Forces (SOF) and approving expenditures of funds to meet operational requirements; 6) directing the development of training programs, operations exercises, and evaluations of theater capabilities with regards to counterterrorism doctrine, organization, and missions.
