This position will be supporting F-35 Training Operations at NAS Lemoore, CA for the USN.Responsible for assisting in defining, developing, configuring and supporting computer applications. Install, setup, and monitor training computer network. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure training computer network meets system requirements. Investigate problem reports, identify problem source, and implement provided solutions. Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, workstations, file servers, networks, fiber, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems. Install and upgrade software applications.Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. Maintain host security, including firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity, and add and delete users. Perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team at Lemoore to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Must be able to attain a SECRET security clearance.Basic Qualifications:Secret Security clearance. Must have performed a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: Personal computer applications training to include systems administration experience with Windows Server 2012 or newer, Windows7, Active Directory administration, terminal services, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and MS Office Suites, data control and scheduling coordination, data security administration, and associated fields. Must be able to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work. Must be able to complete Security + Certification within 6 months after start date.Desired Skills:Security + Certification. Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Firewall and Data Base experience.
