The Senior Recruiter will be a strategic business partner, driving recruiting delivery through sourcing, vetting and facilitating the hiring of high caliber Scientists and Engineers that will be on the cutting-edge of technological break-throughs in the aerospace industry. This position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition (TA), and will be based out of Bridgeport, WV.Responsibilities

Perform full-life cycle recruiting for open positions, leverage market intelligence to shape and inform talent acquisition strategies and business decisions, applying learned and acquired business acumen associated with the functional area

Implement innovative and creative sourcing methods that result in a strong pipeline of highly qualified candidates for open requisitions

Meet weekly with hiring managers providing requisition updates and strategic course corrections

Support and attend career events and university career fairs

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant (OFCCP) applicant tracking system (Taleo) data entry

Maintain talent acquisition metrics and hiring goals

Participate in the development of strategic TA initiatives

Required Qualifications

Minimum 15 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in aerospace recruiting

Ability to recommend and implement relevant, innovative talent acquisition strategies

Understanding of OFCCP and federal, state and local employment laws

Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail

Proven interpersonal skills and experience building strong relationships with candidates and internal business partners

Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and with collaborative teams across all Aurora locations

Self-starter with a track record of producing results that exceed business goals and objectives

Ability to work in a rapidly growing environment with the ability to handle competing tasks and changing priorities
