Find your future with us.The Boeing Company currently has exciting technology development opportunities for a qualified Senior Security Soc Design Engineer (Level 4) to join our Secure Computing Solutions group located in Pleasanton, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; St. Louis, MO; and Tukwila, WA. Boeing's Secure Computing Solutions group is currently looking for an outstanding engineer to be part of a team that develops industry leading cyber resilient ARM-based SoC processor solutions. As a System on Chip (SoC) Architect you will be part of a highly collaborative, close-knit multi-disciplinary team.Responsibilities include:

  • Keep abreast of processor, foundry, trust, intellectual property, standards, trends, tools & methodology and support strategy
  • Resolve complex issues related to architectural approaches, requirements, specifications and design
  • Drive SoC architecture definition through documentation for cyber applications
  • Support of Supplier Management with make-buy recommendations and other technical services
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer growing the capability of the team
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Export Control:This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Experience with System on Chip (SoC) hardware/software
  • Posses a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience leading a SOC or processor design team
  • Experience with Verification process and methodologies
  • Experience with firmware / assembler languages
  • Presentation skills
Typical Education and/or Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
